  • The First 4 Weeks of Pregnancy – What the Doctor Might Tell You

    During the first four weeks of pregnancy, the baby is going through an intensive development phase. The internal organs have begun to form. During the first trimester, (the first three months of pregnancy) a woman may not yet be fully aware that she is pregnant. Among the most obvious signs of pregnancy, which is, lack of menstruation, there may be other causes for this, like travel, stress or some other situation that causes the body to stop menstruating for that month.

    During the first four weeks of pregnancy, the baby is going through an intensive development phase.

     

    The first four weeks of pregnancy – the mother’s body

    The first four weeks of pregnancy is a very special time. The woman may suspect that she is pregnant, because her period should have come about two weeks ago. A pregnant mother may have begun feeling the first symptoms of pregnancy – early morning nausea, tiredness and maybe even vomiting. On the other hand, the woman may feel perfectly normal, wondering if she is pregnant at all! Except for the excitement of possibly being pregnant, she may have energy and optimism to know if it is possible that she will soon become a mother.

    A pregnant mother may have begun feeling the first symptoms of pregnancy – early morning nausea, tiredness and maybe even vomiting.
